Erie County Republicans Endorses Federal, State and County Candidates

The Executive Committee of the Erie County Republican Committee, on Saturday, June 2, endorsed a slate of Republican candidates seeking office on the county, state and federal levels.

Members of the executive committee voted to endorse the following candidates:

US House of Representatives:

26th Congressional District – Michael Madigan

27th Congressional District – Chris Collins

New York State Senate:

59th Senate District – Patrick Gallivan

60th Senate District – Mark Grisanti

61st Senate District – Michael Ranzenhofer

Family Court Judge – Kevin Carter

District Attorney – Frank Sedita

County Comptroller – Stefan Mychajliw

 

Erie County Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy said, “The Erie County Republicans are thrilled to endorse this strong slate of candidates.  Our candidates range from strong public servants with a record of serving their constituents with enthusiasm and professionalism to exciting political newcomers with strong roots in our community.”

 

“The Republican Party continues to demonstrate its commitment running candidates that have a proven track record of lowering taxes, controlling government spending and creating jobs,” continued Langworthy. “We have endorsed Chris Collins and Mike Madigan, two businessmen who know how to create local jobs and manage budgets like we all have to do in our homes.”

 

The committee also endorsed five incumbents with strong records of fighting for the taxpayers and a political newcomer in Stefan Mychajliw for Erie County Comptroller.   Mychajliw brings years of experience as an investigative reporter who exposed millions of dollars of government waste and will take his expertise and passion to the office of County Comptroller to protect the taxpayers’ money.
