Sean Kipp Endorsed in 144th Assembly District
Today, the Erie County Republican Committee endorsed SeanToday, the Erie County Republican Committee endorsed Sean Kipp as the Republican candidate for the 144th Assembly District. The special election will be held on September 13, 2011 and is a result of the resignation of Sam Hoyt.
Sean Kipp, a lifelong Western New Yorker brings a fresh, outsider’s approach to the race having never run for office and not been involved politically.
“If we keep electing the same old candidates to the state legislature, things are never going to change in Albany,” said Kipp. “As a homeowner, I was happy to see the state legislature pass property tax relief this past session. However, in typical Albany fashion, our legislators failed to pass any meaningful mandate relief and that will just pass the increases on down to the local level of government and further burden on middle class families.”
Kipp is the Director of Sales for Towne Hyundai of Orchard Park, a resident of Buffalo’s waterfront and a 2005 graduate of the University at Buffalo.
“I am very impressed by Sean’s passion and his vision for Western New York’s future. Sean Kipp is an energetic young leader that has the enthusiasm and real world experience to represent the taxpayers of the 144thAssembly District with a voice that they deserve in Albany. I am proud to join with the Republican leaders in the City of Buffalo and Grand Island in endorsing his candidacy for the New York State Assembly” said Nicholas A. Langworthy, Chairman of the Erie County Republican Committee.
